At the invitation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, I participated in the first Japan- Uzbekistan joint working group held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan , together with people from Japanese companies, and discussed possible projects in the agricultural field . Reference information (excerpt from Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries materials): During Prime Minister Abe’s visit to Uzbekistan in October 2015 , a memorandum of understanding was signed with the aim of strengthening cooperative relations in the agriculture and food fields. Based on this , the first Japan – Uzbekistan joint working group was held in Tashkent on March 15, 2016 . Representatives from the governments of both countries, agricultural and food-related companies, related organizations, and the Japanese Embassy attended.
